If you have found the dress of your dreams with us and become one of our Bridal House Brides then the next step will be to book in your fittings with our fabulous in-house seamstress Susan Van der Wielen. To book your 1st fitting, Click on the link below and book your 1st fitting 8-10 weeks before your wedding (this is a guide and some fittings may need to be booked closer to your wedding depending on your expected delivery date which will be emailed to you)
The last stage is to schedule your dress pick up and collection date which you can now do online using the Book Now button at the top of the page.
We offer a free style consultation service in our catwalk room, where you will get 30mins to choose and try on all headdresses, veils, shoes & jewellery to complete your bridal look. Please book this through the ‘Book Now” button on our website and select free style consultation as there is not time to finalise your accessories during your fittings.
Booking your fittings
Book your 1st fitting for 8-10 weeks before your wedding. Your 2nd and 3rd fittings will be booked with Susan at your 1st fitting.
Booking your fitting is easy, either book online or contact Susan by phone or Facebook message. To book online, go to the fittings page on The Bridal House Of Cornwall's website, click ‘book your fittings’, then choose your appointment.
Susan offers fittings on Wednesdays 10am-1pm and Thursdays 1pm-4pm. Booking well in advance is advisable, especially for the spring and summer. If you can't find a time that suits you please contact Susan directly to see if she can offer an alternative.
Susan specialises in bridal and bridesmaid alterations. Her background is in Fine Art and she treats every dress with the care, attention and artistic eye needed to create a masterpiece. She is a perfectionist and loves the challenge of creating bespoke changes to transform your gown into your dream dress.
She would love to welcome you into her Vintage Seamstress Room in The Bridal House Of Cornwall where you will have all your fittings. She completes most of her work on-site using the fabulous industrial machine, but she also has a fully equipped home workshop.
