Between them they offer both mid-week and Saturday fittings, Susan and Georgia offer fittings from The Old Mansion House and Jennie prefers to invite brides to her own professional studio for fittings. 

As fittings for bridal alterations are limited please note they are booked on a first come first serve basis.

Susan - The Bustle Head Seamstress - Oriole Alterations

Susan has a wealth of experience altering bridal gowns, since she came to BHOC she has altered over 250 bridal dresses! Her background is in Fine Art and she has a keen eye for creating beautiful bespoke changes to dresses to allow for significant size changes or to create a bride's dream dress. We have heard our brides call her a magician!

Jennie - The Sewing Lady

Jennie started her sewing career with a degree in Costume for Stage and Screen. She has since amassed over 15 years sewing experience. Her passion for creating the perfect shape to suit an individual has never diminished and she especially enjoys anything vintage, retro, or a little unusual. Jennie can re-cut and restyle wedding dresses to the dress of a bride’s dreams. She also provides superb men’s tailoring alterations.

Georgia - Honey Bee Alterations

Georgia has an incredible creative spark, while she has now turned to bridal alterations, she has in the past had a wide sewing career, from creating her own clothing line (featured on This Morning and London catwalks) to being the chosen seamstress for many burlesque dancers! Georgia’s incredible veils use the softest luxurious tulle and stunning bead and lace details. All her veils are available in bespoke designs, custom made for you.
